Adthvit "Oat" Chorphaka, 57, of New Brunswick, passed away Friday, April 14, 2017, at RWJ University Hospital New Brunswick.
Born in Bangkok, Thailand, he resided in New Brunswick for over 20 years.
He was a Computer Programmer, having previously worked for AT & T and IMB both located in Piscataway.
He and his wife own and operate Café Bua in Piscataway for the last 7 years.
He is predeceased by his father, Adth Chorphaka. Surviving are his wife, April Okano; his mother and step father Raksgob Wongpromsilp and Sompong Daengsurisri, M.D of Godfrey, IL; his brother Isres Chorphaka and sister Arnusara Chorphaka, both of Thailand; mother and father-in-law Joichi and Cora Okano of HI; sister and brother-in-law William and Corinne Blakely of Sacramento, CA and niece and nephew Lora and Tyler Blakely.
A Visitation will be held Thursday from 12:30-1:30pm with a funeral service at 1:30pm at Costello-Runyon Funeral Home, 568 Middlesex Ave (Rt.27) Metuchen (costello-runyon.com).
