Obituary

Dolores Schneller, formerly of Wyckoff and Lakewood, died on February 8th. Dolores grew up in Valley Stream, NY and graduated from Lawrence High School.

Dolores was a compassionate and devoted friend. She was employed in various administrative positions in addition to raising her 5 children. Her passion was singing which she did from a young age and throughout her life including many community and church choirs. Dolores and Bill (husband of 64 years) enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and Europe. A devoted Mother and Grandmother, her favorite days were those spent with family and close friends.

Dolores was predeceased by her husband, William, and daughter Jean. She is survived by sons Bill and his wife Roberta, Tom and his wife Alison and daughters Maryann McGuire and her husband Thomas and Helene and her husband Frank and grandchildren Mary, Erika, Tom, Will and Kathleen.

The funeral will be held on Monday, February 13, 2017 at 9:45 am from the Costello-Runyon Funeral Home, 568 Middlesex Avenue (Rt. 27) Metuchen followed by a 10:15 am Mass of Christian Burial in St. Francis Cathedral, Metuchen. Interment will be in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown.

Visitation will be on Sunday from 1-5 pm.
