Dorothy (Morrison) Allmer, 75, of Edison died on Friday (5-13-05) at JFK Medical Center in Edison.
Born in Jersey City, she resided in Jersey City and Secaucus before moving to Edison in 1986.
She was a secretary at Yellow Freight Systems in Linden for 25 years before retiring in 1993.
She was a communicant of Guardian Angels RC Church in Edison.
Her sister Joanne Johnson, who died in 1961, predeceased her.
Surviving are her husband Eugene, a son Wayne of Myrtle Beach SC, four daughters Doreen Petryshyn of Lyndhurst, Dawn Allmer of Edison, Denise Buchmuller of Edison, Donna Allmer of Edison, a brother John Morrison of Waretown, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Services will be held, Tuesday May 17, 2005 at 8:45 AM from the Costello-Runyon
Funeral Home 568 Middlesex Ave. (RT 27) Metuchen followed by a 9:30 AM Funeral Liturgy at Guardian Angels RC Church in Edison.
Visitation is Monday 2-4 & 7-9.
