Edwin W. Angus Jr., 72, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at his home with his family by his side.
Edwin was born in Stillwater, Oklahoma and went to college at Southwestern College in Kansas. Throughout college, Ed was a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes where he would travel to high schools to help mentor and guide student- athletes. After graduating, he moved to Metuchen with his loving wife Pamela in 1968. He owned and operated the Ed Angus Company where he painted and wallpapered in the summer months. Ed served as a deacon in the First Presbyterian Church of Metuchen for 6 years. He was very humble and kind especially when it came to helping others.
He adored his grandchildren and the time he spent with them at their sporting events and dance competitions. In his downtime he enjoyed going to Rutgers wrestling matches and watching John Wayne movies. Although Ed has lived in NJ for 50 years Oklahoma was always home. Go Cowboys!!
