Born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, he resided in Edison for 13 years. Prior to that he lived in the towns of North Tonawanda, NY, Hoboken, NJ and Jersey City, NJ.
A lifetime laborer, Nemesio worked in various companies which include Tonawanda Iron in North Tonawanda, Bethlehem Steel and Maxwell House in Hoboken, and Hartz Mountain Industries in Secaucus.
He is predeceased by his wife Rosa Maria (d.1981), daughter Gladys (d.2002), his parents Justino and Petra, brother Abram and sisters Martina and Irene.
Surviving are his son Roberto Rodriguez and his wife Joan of Edison; his daughter Leonor Mendoza and her husband Ventura of Jersey City; a sister Maria Constancia Santos of Niagara Falls, NY; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Nemesio, affectionately known as Pops, was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He was loved by everyone and will be greatly missed.
Visitation is Saturday December 8, between the hours of 9:30 am-11:30 am at Costello-Runyon Funeral Home, 568 Middlesex Ave (Rt.27) Metuchen, NJ, followed by the Funeral Service at 11:30 am; burial is at Rosedale Cemetery in Linden, NJ.
