Robert Earl Van Duyne, 86, passed away on August 4, 2017.
He and his second wife Ann spent nine years in Palmyra, VA before moving to Leisure Village West, Manchester, in 2008.
Robert was born in New Brunswick and spent most of his life in New Jersey. He graduated from Highland Park High School in 1949 and then went to the RCA Institute in New York City. After finishing at RCA in 1952, he went to work at the Bell Telephone Labs, where he worked for 32 years. He retired in 1984 and been retired since.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Ann; a son William of Brick and a daughter Barbara of Vermont; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Robert will be laid to rest next to his first wife Peggy. The interment will be private under the direction of Costello-Runyon Funeral Home, Metuchen.
