Frances Kozarzewski, 99, of Highland Park, died on Monday, November 13, 2017 at the Francis E. Parker Memorial Home in Piscataway.
Born on November 6, 1918 in New Brunswick, she was a lifelong resident of Highland Park. She worked as a seamstress retiring in 1981. She was a parishioner of St. Paul the Apostle RC Church in Highland Park. She was a charter member of the Polish National Home in South Plainfield, where she was always an active member and cherished the Polish dancing.
She is predeceased by her husband, Edward (d.1991); parents, Mike & Emilie Paralusz; and two brothers, Walter & Henry Paralusz.
She is survived by her two children, Edward Kozarski & his wife Karen of Hillsborough, & Pat Corson of Edison; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; a brother, John Paralusz of North Brunswick; & a niece, Susan Paralusz of North Brunswick.
The funeral will be held on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 9:15 am from the Costello-Runyon Funeral Home, 568 Middlesex Avenue (Rt. 27), Metuchen followed by a 10 am Mass of Christian Burial at Transfiguration of the Lord Parish, St. Paul the Apostle RC Church, 502 Raritan Ave, Highland Park, NJ 08904. Interment will be in Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 4-8 pm.
