Paul M. DuBois Jr., 61, of Metuchen died on Monday, November 13, 2017 at home, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in New York City, he was a lifelong Metuchen resident.
After graduating from Perth Amboy Vo-Tech in 1974, Paul began his career in the oil, heating and air conditioning field. In 1998 he joined St. Francis of Assisi Cathedral as the Maintenance Supervisor. St. Francis and its community have provided immeasurable support to Paul and his family during his illness. They have been a constant source of love, prayers and blessings. St. Francis was more than an employer but rather an extended family to the DuBois'.
Known for being a charitable man, Paul was always willing to help those in need at every opportunity. He was a hard working selfless man who was a true friend, a sweet and loving husband, father, brother and uncle. His greatest joy was becoming a grandfather to Lucas earlier this year. Paul will be deeply missed by all.
He was predeceased by his parents Paul M. Sr. and Alice (nee Walsh) DuBois.
Surviving are his wife Lori (nee Frank); two daughters Melissa and Kimberly; a grandson Lucas; three brothers Michael, his wife Denise, Dennis, his wife Erika and M. Patrick, his wife Debra; a sister Michelle Robinson, her husband Christopher and his beloved aunt, Marian Walsh. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Services will take place on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 9:45 Am from the Costello-Runyon Funeral Home 568 Middlesex Ave. (RT 27) Metuchen, followed by a 10:15 AM Funeral Mass at St. Francis of Assisi Cathedral; interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery of Metuchen.
