Albert Blankiet, 80, of Edison died on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Whispering Knoll in Edison.
He was born in Brussels Belgium and resided in Brooklyn NY for 60 years before moving to Edison in 2017.
He was a New York City High School French Teacher before his retirement.
As a child Holocaust survivor, he was predeceased by his parents Chaim and Blima (nee Bocza) Blankiet, as well as his siblings Isaac and Chana Dwora Blankiet.
He is survived by his daughter Nicole Anie Blankiet of Metuchen his son Daniel Andre Blankiet his wife Niurka Coteron Blankiet; three grandchildren Eli, Elisa and Eric Coteron and great-grandson Oliver Gotfriedsons.
