Andrew J. Kimball, 47 of Hillsborough died on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Robert Wood Johnson at Somerset.
Born in Plainfield, Andrew resided in Edison most of his life, moving to Hillsborough three years ago.
He was a graduate of J.P. Stevens High School in Edison and attended Rider University. Andrew was a Purchasing Manager at Hydraulic Connections in Paterson.
With three older brothers and a loving father who all competed athletically, Andrew developed a love for sports at an early age which led him to excel in baseball and football at JP Stevens High School. Andrew’s enthusiasm for sports lasted long after his own playing days were over. Anyone who knew Andrew knew that he was an avid fan of New York professional teams including the Mets, Rangers, Giants and Knicks.
Andrew cherished family gatherings. Whether it was family vacations on Long Beach Island, a holiday or birthday, Andrew treasured the togetherness of his family and would eagerly participate in conversation and board games. Memories of the laughter and good times, whether at the dining table, on the back patio or in the garage, will never fade.
Andrew’s entire career was spent in the business of hydraulic hose and fittings, with the majority of that time spent as a Purchasing Manager. A perfectionist, his expertise in this field is widely known throughout Northeastern United States.
He will be missed everyday by his Mother, his brothers, his sisters-in-law, his nieces and nephews, extended family, and by his many friends and peers. We pray that Andrew is at rest in Heaven with his beloved father and his loving grandparents.
He was predeceased by his father Francis Kimball.
Surviving are his mother Elaine Susan Kimball; three brothers and their wives, Robert and Jeanne, Douglas and Denise, Scott and Ngaire; five nieces and nephews Michael, Meghan, Ryan, Keeley and Ryder. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
