Bernice Romasz, 89, passed away on September 10, 2020 peacefully at her home in Manahawkin, New Jersey.
Born in Poland, she survived the agony of WWII living in an orphanage with her brother Michael Jurek (deceased) in India.
Bernice loved cooking, gardening, and enjoyed all of her friends & family at gatherings and holidays. She especially enjoyed Bus Trips to Atlantic City with her friends, she was very lucky.
She worked at Unisys Company until her retirement.
Bernice is predeceased by her parents, Franciszek and Franciszka Jurek.
Surviving are her husband of 72 years, Boleslaw Romasz; her daughters Krystyna Stempinski and her husband Stanley, of Sayreville; Teresa Anderson and her husband Bill, of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; and her son Edward T. Romasz of Manahawkin; 3 grandchildren, George T. Stempinski, of Somerset, Jason Hubbard and his wife Lisa, of Texas, and Jessica Keith and her husband Nate of Texas; 3 great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Austin, and Harper; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins in England & Poland. She will be sadly missed by everyone.
A committal service will be held Monday September 14, 2020 at Resurrection Burial Park in Piscataway at 11:30am.
