Dino also leaves behind many extended family members who love him very deeply.
He is predeceased by his loving grandparents and great grandparents.
Dino lived his life as a skilled mason of his and his family businesses. He was a true Renaissance man in his labor, artistic achievements, his scholarly pursuits, and the way he lived every day of his life. Dino was a friend to all people and shared his passions for art, gardening, and literature with everyone whom he met.
Cancer struck Dino in the battle of his life five years ago. He fought it with courage, and an unrelenting will to overcome. Dino has won his fight by entering Heaven, to be with our Lord, where cancer can never touch him again. He also won by being part of a clinical trial, that is being fast tracked for use, as a first line of defense. It’s no coincidence that his milestone advancement within the trial made front page news on the morning of Dino’s passing. He left others an amazing gift with his sacrifice so they do not have to suffer the battle that he did.
Dino passed away at home, where he had wished to be, in his final phase of life. He was surrounded by his immediate family who held him as he passed. Dino may now rest in peace in the arms of our Lord.
