Eileen J. Stephens, 76, of Whiting died on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Community Medical Center in Toms River.
Born in Jersey City, she had lived in Edison, Sewaren, Forked River, and Whiting. She was a former communicant of St. Cecelia’s RC Church in Iselin, St. Anthony’s in Port Reading, and St. Matthew’s in Edison. She previously worked at the Pines Manor, Supermarkets General (Pathmark), & JP Morgan Chase.
She is predeceased by her husband, Edward; her daughter, Robin; her parents, John & Rosalie Quinn; and her sister in law Teresa Quinn.
She is survived by her son, Arthur and his wife Theresa of Brackney, PA; 2 daughters, Cheryl Carrano and her husband Richard of Forked River, & Melissa Calabrese and her husband Michael of Toms River; 2 brothers, John “Allan” Quinn of Idaho, & Robert Quinn and his wife Sarah of Iselin; her sister, Patricia Kane and her husband Thomas of Avenel; 7 grandchildren, Sara Stephens (Scott Naia), Courtney Cahill, Casey Cahill, Richard Carrano, Stephen Carrano, Michael Calabrese, Anthony Calabrese; and 5 great-grandchildren, Tyler Santana, Autumn Santana, Isabella Naia, Manuel Naia, and Aurora Naia.
Visitation will take place on Sunday from 1-5pm with a Funeral Service at 3pm at the Costello-Runyon Funeral Home, 1225 Green St. & Cooper Ave, Iselin. A graveside service will be held Monday at 11am at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia.
