Frederick B. Molineux, Esq., of Pittstown, N.J. passed away unexpectedly on March 13, 2015 in Southport, NC. He was 77 years old. Fred was a resident of Hunterdon County for over 40 years and a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Pittstown.
Visitation will be Thursday March 19, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the Costello-Runyon Funeral Home, 568 Middlesex Ave Metuchen, NJ. Funeral services will be Friday, March 20, 2015 at 11 am at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 17 Oak Ave, Metuchen, NJ.
The son of Judge John B. Molineux and Florence Barlow Molineux and brother to J. Bailey Molineux of Helena, MT, Fred was born on August 31, 1937 and grew up in Metuchen.
After graduating from Metuchen High School in 1955, Fred attended Trinity College in Hartford, CT where he earned his undergraduate degree. In 1958, Fred married his high school sweetheart and best friend, Lorena Roll. While raising their young family and working full time as Risk Manager for Foster Wheeler Corporation, Fred attended law school at night earning his law degree from Seton Hall University in 1974.
After Foster Wheeler, Fred worked for nearly 30 years as the Global Director of Risk Management for Johnson & Johnson, retiring in 2001.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Lorena; his children; Susan, Laura, Fred Jr. and daughter-in-law Shelley, Timothy and daughter- in-law Sue; as well as 10 cherished grandchildren, ranging in ages from 2 to 29 years.
