Jack D. Sigismondi, 84, of Edison, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2020, at Mary Anne Hale Pavilion Haven Hospice, Edison.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, he resided in Piscataway before moving to Edison 40 years ago.
Jack was the President of NY Tube and Reel Co. in Kearny, for 40 years.
He was a parishioner of St. Francis Cathedral, Metuchen, and a member of the Knights of Columbus, where he was a 4th Degree Knight.
He was a member of the Edison Italian American Club. Jack loved the NY Giants and the Yankees.
He is predeceased by his sister, Sabrina Lombardo.
Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Carol Sigismondi(nee Kane); four children, Mary Jane Osgoodby and her husband, George, of Spring Hill, FL, Rosemarie Cocca and her husband, Donato, of Brick, Jacqueline Castronovo and her husband, Santo, of Freehold, and John Sigismondi and his wife, Kim, of Weeki Wachee, FL; one brother, Alfred Sigismondi and his wife, Carole, of Iselin; nine grandchildren, Billy, Annamarie, Jack, Thea, Frank, Jerry, Jack, Lacey, and Amberly; five great-grandchildren, Steven, Billy, Jimmy, Andrew, and Clara.
The Funeral will take place on Monday, January 20, 2020, at 10:00 am, at Costello-Runyon Funeral Home, 568 Middlesex Ave. (Rt.27), Metuchen, followed by a 10:30 am Funeral Mass at St. Francis Cathedral, Metuchen.
Entombment is in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is Sunday, 2-6 pm.
