James Cosentino, 65, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2019 at Roosevelt Care Center in Edison, NJ. Born in Paterson, he was raised in Towaco, NJ and resided in Metuchen since 1982.
In 1976, Jim attained a BS degree in accounting from Westminster College in New Wilmington, PA, where he was a member of the Theta Chi fraternity. He earned an MBA in finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1980. Throughout his career, Jim held multiple positions in finance and was the chief financial officer of several companies in NYC and NJ.
An avid sports fan, Jim followed his favorite New York teams; the Yankees, Giants, and Rangers. He enjoyed attending rock concerts, musical theater, and sporting events. He loved traveling and the ocean. Jim could often be found drinking a strong cup of coffee in the morning, reading suspense and mystery novels, or firing off sarcastic quips at the TV while indulging in a science fiction film. Above all else, Jim loved spending time with his family.
Jim was predeceased by his mother, Grace (Monaco) Cosentino, and his brother, Joseph. Surviving are his loving wife of 39 years, Beverley Cosentino, their only child, Mica Cosentino, and Jim's father, Salvatore.
