Laura A. Baum, 71, of Edison, died on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at the JFK Medical Center in Edison.
Born in Newark, she was a lifelong resident of Iselin. She attended JFK High School in Iselin. She worked for World & Main, LLC in Cranbury for over 7 years. She was in the American Legion Post 471 in the Ladies Auxiliary. She liked to play the lottery & was an avid Jets fan. She was a very selfless person, always putting her family & friends before her needs, treating her nieces & nephew as her own, and just being a very friendly & enjoyable person to be around.
She is predeceased by her parents, Stanley Sr. & Nathalie Dorothy; & a brother, Stanley Jr.
She is survived by her two brothers, Richard “Bucky” of Creston, NC & Steven Sr. of Iselin; two nieces & a nephew, Natalie of MO, Steven Jr. of Iselin, & Julianna of Iselin; & three grand-nieces, Savannah, CaliAnn, & Journey.
A visitation will take place on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 from 4-8 pm at the Costello-Runyon Funeral Home, 1225 Green St. & Cooper Ave, Iselin. Cremation will be private.
