Michael A. Linkin, 34, of Edison passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at his home.
Michael is survived by his parents, Robert and Nancy (Kaminski) Linkin of Edison; his sister, Megan Linkin and her husband, Mark Bonthrone of Ridgewood; his niece, Islay; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members.
Michael was a lifelong resident of Edison but summered at the Jersey Shore in Lavallette which was his home away from home and where he made many of his closest friends. For many years it's where he was at his happiest.
Michael was smart, witty and outgoing, with the gift of being able to hold a conversation with anyone, anywhere. He had an encyclopedic knowledge of sports and a passion and flair for art.
He attended Middlesex County Community College and Rutgers University in New Brunswick.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 from 3-7pm, at the Costello-Runyon Funeral Home, 568 Middlesex Ave. (Rt.27), Metuchen (www.costello-runyon.com).
The funeral will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2020, at 9:45am from the Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:15am at St. Francis Cathedral, Metuchen. Cremation will be private.
