Rosemary Czajkowski, 88, of Iselin, died on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at JFK Hartwyck at Oak Tree in Edison.
Born in Irvington she resided in Newark before moving to Iselin in 1956.
She was an active member at St. Cecelia Roman Catholic Church. She was an officer in the Altar Rosary Society and Program Director for the Altar Linens. She was a Eucharist minister, frequently visiting Roosevelt Care Center in Edison. She was a past treasurer of the PTA and a volunteer for the St. Cecelia’s Iselin Fair for many years.
She worked at Cole, Booth, Potter and At Home Therapy both in the Edison area.
She was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, John (2001) and her parents, Edward and Ella (Trabold) Helmstetter.
She is survived by her three children: Linda Czajkowski of Edison, Patricia Fabino and her husband, James of South Plainfield and John Czajkowski and his wife, Amy of Freehold and her four grandsons: Matthew & Brian Fabino and Jason & Kyle Czajkowski. She is also survived by her two sisters: Eleanor Shea of Toms River and Margaret Lake of Monroe Township and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be at the Costello-Runyon Funeral Home, 1225 Green St. (corner of Cooper Ave.) Iselin on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 from 2-4 P.M. and 7-9 P.M. Services will be on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at 9:30 am from the funeral home, followed by a 10 am Mass of Christian burial at St. Cecelia Church. Interment is at St. Gertrude’s Cemetery in Colonia.
