Sze Sang Cheung, 93, of Edison, died on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at the Cedar Oaks at AristaCare in South Plainfield.
Sze was born in Taishan City, Guangdong Province, China and came to the US in 1984 & has resided in Edison since 1988. He was a plastic worker in Hong Kong. He was a member of the Taishan Chinese-American Planning Council in New York. He loved to drink tea, eat dim sum, read the newspaper and write in his journal.
Sze is survived by his wife of 71 years, Wai Kum Cheng; 7 children, Belinda Cheung and her husband Hon K Wong of Avenel, Dennis Cheung and his wife Lai Hung Chan of Marboro, Stella Cheung and her husband Kam Shing Chan of Hong Kong, Cynthia Cheung of Avenel, Brian Cheung and his wife Kam Fong Lee of Edison, Terence Cheung and his wife Queenie Tse of Hong Kong and Derek Cheung and his wife Susana Poon of Miami, FL; 9 grandchildren, Jessie Wong and her husband Andrew Lee, Janice Wong and her husband Tony Wong, Jocelyn Wong, Breanna Cheung, Ryan Chan, Stanley Chan, Philly Cheung, Andy Cheung, & Questa Cheung; & 5 great-grandchildren, Alicia Jessie Lee, Juanita Andrea Lee, Janoah Christian Wong, Toviah Liam Wong, & Arthur Chan.
Visitation will be on Saturday from 2-4 pm in the Costello-Runyon Funeral Home, 568 Middlesex Avenue (Rt. 27) Metuchen. Cremation will be private.
