Thomas Robert Strittmatter Jr, 66 years young, peacefully passed away in his sleep at home on Sunday, October 7th, 2018.
“Tom Tom” was born on July 17th, 1952 in Rahway, NJ and was a long time resident of Iselin before moving to Edison. Tom Tom studied at Middlesex County College and was employed by ECO Labs and with the Port Authority of NJ/NY before his retirement. He was a parishoner at St. Cecelia’s RC Church in Iselin.
Greeting him at the pearly gates are his parents, Alice and Thomas Robert Sr; his paternal grandparents, Edith and Albert Strittmatter; and his maternal grandparents, Mary and Stanley Tomaso.
Tommy was the first born of seven children and is survived by his siblings: Ronald, Susan, Robert, Richard, Karen and James; his beloved Goddaughter/niece, Stacy and adored niece, Amber; as well as, many cherished relatives and friends.
Tom Tom, best known for his sense of humor and story telling, loved his Corvettes, Cadillacs, NY Giants, Atlantic City, the seaside, his ancestry lineage, magic tricks, classic rock and movies.
Private cremation will be held at Rosehill Crematory in Linden.
