Timothy G. Parker, 54, of Metuchen died on Monday, June 3, 2019 at the Mary Anne Hale Pavilion of Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center in Edison, New Jersey.
Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he has resided in Metuchen for 26 years. He was employed by VCNY Home in North Bergen, New Jersey as a designer.
Survived by his children Nicole and Zachary Parker, his mother Joan Parker, siblings Gerilyn (Kevin) Parker, James (Gail) Parker, Carina (Robert) Zippel, Shawn (Karla) Parker, Matthew Parker, and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father, James Parker.
Tim was an amazingly devoted father, son, brother and friend. He was brilliantly talented, compassionate and kindhearted, and would do anything for his friends and family. He was an incredible artist whose passion was crafting and designing characters and stories. He had a naturally creative spirit and loved to doodle and draw. Tim was always making people laugh and continued to do so even through his battle with cancer. His quick wit and sarcastic sense of humor will be missed by all of those who knew him.
Visitation is Thursday, June 6, 2019 from 4-7:30 PM, concluding with a service at 7:30 PM at the Costello-Runyon Funeral Home, 568 Middlesex Avenue (Rt. 27) in Metuchen, NJ. Cremation will be private. If you would like to make a donation in lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
